Responsibilities

We have recently been selected by NASA to deploy a satellite to Lunar Orbit as part of a Gateway mission that will send the first man and woman to Mars! As an RF Communications Technician, your role is integral to this mission,  you will work closely with RF engineers and you will play an important role in the installation, testing and maintenance of Rocket Lab’s antenna systems and associated ground station equipment. You will be challenged daily and to succeed you will need to adapt quickly and thrive under pressure to achieve tight project deadlines.

Profile

• Diploma in electronics/electrical engineering or an equivalent qualification
• 3+ years of experience working as a technician on the installation, maintenance and/or testing of communications system equipment
• IT networking and software skills
• The ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
• Effective communication skills and the ability to build strong working relationships
