Responsibilities

The main purpose would be to manage the company’s supply of products and services. Develop strategies to find cost-effective deals and suppliers. Negotiate supplier agreements, contracts, company purchases and deliverables. Provide input for strategy development and discovery of new enabling transportation technology and processes. Oversee procurement and logistics services from a management perspective to ensure required supplies of commodities, facilities and service needs for all the activities are mobilized efficiently and in a timely manner. Purchase order execution, timely delivery, stock optimization.

More specifically, you will:

• Negotiate with external vendors to secure advantageous terms
• Manage purchase details of orders and deliveries
• Collaborate with key persons to ensure clarity of the specifications and expectations of the company
• Source alternative suppliers for the purchases, focusing on value delivery, balancing costs (e.g. savings), quality (e.g. compliance) and service (e.g. availability, risk management)
• Ensure effective lines of communication to ensure timely delivery of commodities using the most appropriate procurement procedures
• Optimize the logistics costs, ensuring the logistic structures are booked on time
• Implement and manage efficient systems that track the shipment, inventory and supply of materials
• Prepare periodic procurement/logistics reports

Profile

Must have:

• Degree in Engineering or Business (with strong focus on technology), with up to 3 years of experience
• Experience in supply chain management and logistics
• Experience in procurement activities in an industrial sector
• Proven negotiation skills
• Problem-solving capacity, with demonstrated ability for considerable analysis and sound judgment to find solutions in a complex environment with shifting and competing priorities
• Passionate about new space, curious and eager to learn
• Driven to deliver and consonantly push the boundaries
• Take ownership and accountability for own actions and mistakes
• Humble and willing to go out of your way to help others
• Can-do attitude and outstanding communication skills
• Fluent German and English

Nice to have:

• Basic knowledge of Swedish language is an asset
