This role will suit somebody who is passionate about working collaboratively in a team environment but also is comfortable working autonomously. You will excel in this role if you have an appetite for learning and actively take on jobs that fall outside your schedule.

Responsibilities

As a member of the Avionics Harness Production team, you will have the opportunity to work with modern avionics components and systems, test equipment and a limited number of simple mechanical systems. You will carry out all aspects of harness assembly, testing, troubleshooting and rework. This is all focused on quality and built to meet the production schedule.

Profile

  • Trade qualified in relevant industry
  • Must be able to demonstrate 4+ years of relevant industry experience
  • Precision harness assembly
  • Comfortable with high precision crimping, soldering and harness termination tasks
  • Comfortable working to exacting standards, including cleanliness for oxygen service
  • Have a sound understanding of standard industry ESD policy
  • Have a good level of eyesight and be able to inspect wiring assemblies to a high workmanship standard
  • Be able to manufacture components to a high workmanship standard, including soldering and wire harnessing
  • Excellent communication skills
  • The ability to work well in a team environment as well as autonomously
  • Remains calm under pressure
  • Takes initiative
