Sapienza Consulting is recruiting a NATO Deployable CIS Capabilities Analyst to work at NATO NCIA in Mons, Belgium.

Responsibilities

  • Supports participation of NCISG in NSIP development, submission and implementation for DCIS. Coordinates with NCISG Divisions and NSBs, and other relevant stakeholders to identify and review requirements, priorities, etc for development and implementation of NSIP projects, including CPP and UR submissions as required. Provides reports, briefings, position papers and presentations on various aspects of Capability Development submission.
  • Monitors status of NSIP projects against plans and requirements during C3 Capability lifecycle and assists in coordinating with stakeholders (ACO, ACT, NCI Agency, NSPA, etc.).
  • Assists with implementation of capabilities assignment plans for NCISG, maintaining project overview of status of implementation of new or changed capabilities.
  • Provides continuous analysis & advice on DCIS capability status & project execution relevant matters. Assists in coordination of all activities (test, security, training, logistics, documentation, etc.) required to implement new Capabilities within NCISG.
  • Assists with analysis, design and recommended implementation procedures and business processes to optimize management and availability of DCIS Capability.
  • Assists with representation of NCISG position on topics related to senior policies, capability development and project execution support and implementation in Working Groups, NCISG Conferences, etc.
  • Provides direct support to Operational Planning Branches to ensure timely delivery of DCIS capabilities to meet SACEUR’s operational requirements.
  • Assists with creation and management of mitigation plans to improve NCISG DCIS capability, to include provision of quick and effective problem solving support.
  • Provides input and advice with respect to development and amendment of NCISG formal agreements, Directives, Standard Operating Procedures and Operating and Support Instructions.
  • Contributes to definition of new CIS requirements through collection of lessons-learnt and operational shortfalls identified in support to NCS.

Profile

  • Required Security Clearance: NATO SECRET
  • English: Listening, speaking, reading and writing shall be at a NATO level of English 3333
  • Work both oral and written in post and in Headquarter as whole is conducted mainly in English
  • Proven experience relative to required duties outlined above
  • Extensive experience in planning of CIS Projects
  • University degree or higher secondary education combined with intermediate-level vocational training or military experience in a field or fields related to the duties of the position

 

Desirable Qualifications

  • Knowledge of NATO CIS, its concepts, policies and architectures
  • Experience in planning and supporting of Deployable CIS and associated networks
  • Previous experience in NATO or in a large multinational, military or governmental organization
