This role will be split between working on-site at our Oakdale office as it is identified as an essential role as well as working remotely. We have a number of measures in-place for on-site working, as our first and foremost priority remains the health and safety of our colleagues.

Responsibilities

As a Desktop Support Technician you will carry out first and second line support, maintenance and improvements to the company’s I.T. desktop, network, telephony and printing infrastructure and to assist on IT projects.

Day to day activities will include:

  • Support and administration of Active Directory and MS Exchange in multiple domains
  • Network support, PC builds, imaging, refresh, swap outs, re-builds and general troubleshooting
  • General support of infrastructure devices (Printers, desktop phones, monitors etc)
  • Helpdesk and KPI tracking and reporting
  • Liaison and coordination with wider IT support teams on issues and the set-up of new devices/infrastructure needing access to shared systems

Profile

You will bring with you experience of:

  • Windows Operating System
  • Understanding of Desktop hardware setup and configuration
  • Knowledge of Active Directory
  • MS Exchange administration
  • Network + certification support

We are looking to recruit this role as soon as possible as a 3 month contract, either on a fixed term or day rate contractor basis. As such we are ideally looking for someone who already holds Security Clearance.
