Sapienza Consulting, a tpgroup company, is recruiting a Principal Secure Network Consultant to join NATO – NCIA in The Hague, South Holland, Netherlands.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the formulation, planning and execution of scientific NATO and multi¬national projects in Secure Communications topic areas including, but not limited to, Secure Networking, Secure Voice, Communications Resilience, Link Encryption, New Generation Networks, Federated Mission Networking, NINE and SCIP CIS security standards, etc
  • Participate in the management and coordination of activities with multiple internal and external stakeholders, namely NATO C3 Board Capability Teams, Multinational Working Groups, and NCI Agency scientific Programme of Work (PoW) projects as required
  • Organize and engage in scoping discussions with sponsors and project team members on PoW activities, elaborate work plans, and act as technical manager and/or senior contributor to the work to be conducted
  • Prepare, organize and lead scoping and coordination meetings with the different PoW external and internal stakeholders, and contribute to overall coherence and awareness in PoW execution
  • Provide technical briefings and presentations on the progress of the various work activities, making sure that work plans are followed and meet internal and external milestones
  • Elaborate high-quality technical reports and briefs to be circulated as NATO technical documents and inputs to NATO committees and other forums
  • Perform other duties as required, including deputizing for the senior NCI Agency project team members as required

Profile

  • Required Security Clearance: NATO Secret
  • A Master of Science (MSc) degree from a reputable university ina related discipline with a minimum of 10 years’ relevant demonstrated post-related experience
  • A senior profile matching the level of a principal technical manager with a solid scientific background
  • A proven track record of technical management work in the areas of SecureNetworking in the context of complex NATO projects
  • Expert knowledge and extensive experience in secure networking topics in NATO and multinational contexts, including at the NATO Network and Security Capability Team (N&S CaT)
  • Knowledge and proven experience in current NATO topics, such as Communications Resilience, Security of New GenerationNetworks, FMN Specifications, NINE and SCIP CIS security standards, etc
  • Expert knowledge of NATO Enterprise communication services, including the development of scenarios for secure IP and voice communications
  • Recognized track record in dealing with stakeholders, understanding their needs, problems and requests, and proposing constructive ways ahead
  • Proven experience in communicating effectively in English both in writing and orally, with excellent writing and briefing skills to different types of audiences, including providing briefings and writing high-quality technical reports for public circulation
