Sapienza Consulting is recruiting a Principal Technical PoW Coordinator to join NATO – NCIA in Mons, Wallonia, Belgium (Remote),

Responsibilities

  • Lead PoW technical portfolio management and associated coordination activities with a view to improve the situational awareness at portfolio and programme levels, identify links between the ACT PoW and other NATO programmes of work and initiatives, develop technical and non-technical dashboards, and liaise with non-technical staff
  • Organize and engage in technical discussions with sponsors, project managers, and technical leads of ACT PoW activities, conduct assessments, elaborate programme briefs and , and act as technical manager and/or senior contributor to the work to be conducted
  • Prepare, organize and lead scoping and coordination meetings with the different PoW external and internal stakeholders, and contribute to overall coherence and awareness in PoW execution
  • Support liaison activities with other NHQC3S and OCIO PoW on topics related to ACT PoW
  • Perform other duties as required, including deputizing for senior NCI Agency CTO staff on internal and external engagements

Profile

  • The candidate must have a NATO SECRET security clearance
  • A senior profile matching the level of a principal technical manager with a solid scientific background and with a proven track record of technical management work in the areas of ICT services and C3 capabilities
  • Proven NATO experience, including direct support to NATO ACT PoW activities and their related work, including links with work conducted under the C3 Board Substructure
  • A Master of Science (MSc) degree from a reputable university in a related discipline with a minimum of 10 years’ relevant postrelated experience
  • Extensive and demonstrated knowledge and experience in the following areas:
    • Planning, coordination and execution of technical and scientific work for large programmes and projects involving multiple stakeholders;
    • Development of programme and project management artefacts and documentation, including dashboards, plans, status reports, briefs, etc.;
    • Contribution to the state of the art in defence ICT services and C3 capabilities;
    • Briefing senior technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Recognized track record in dealing with stakeholders, understanding their needs, problems, and requests and proposing constructive ways ahead
  • Proven ability to apply architecture methodologies to express complex systems of systems in architectural terms and models of varying detail
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively in English both in writing and orally with excellent writing and briefing skills to different types of audiences, including providing briefings, and writing high-quality technical
