Sapienza Consulting is recruiting a System Administrator for Sapienza to work on our Customers Site (NATO NCIA, Yeovilton, UK).

Responsibilities

• System Administrator for CSE Yeovilton
• Upgrade of VMware vSphere environment
• Removal of obsolete server hardware
• Installation of new server and storage hardware
• Upgrade of Windows Server 2012 to 2016
• Document changes. Prepare simple technical user guides and SOPs
• Installation and configuration of event logging solution
• Secondary duties will include support to troubleshooting other local IT Incidents & Problems – since site is small with only 3 local technicians, you may also have to occasionally help out with tasks that other technicians are involved with

Profile

• Required Security Clearance: NATO Cosmic Top Secret
• Windows Server 2012 or higher Specialist
• Extensive experience with VMware vSphere 6 or higher
• Knowledge of Microsoft SCCM 2012 installation and configuration would be an advantage
• Knowledge of Networking e.g. switch configuration, would be an asset
• Knowledge of DATA backup solutions: Veritas Backup Exec 20 and VEEAM 9.5, would be an asset
• Knowledge of ITIL foundation knowledge would be an advantage
• Knowledge of SharePoint 2016 installation and configuration would be an advantage
• Fluent in English; knowledge of another NATO member-state language is an asset
• Candidates must be eligible to work in the EU
