Sapienza Consulting is recruiting an experienced Back-end developer for an exciting NewSpace venture based in Tokyo, Japan. The engineer taking this position will be responsible for providing users who need data from our services with a way to access them effectively using Web-based technology.

The engineer taking this position will be responsible for providing users who need data from our clients services with a way to access them effectively using Web-based technology.

Profile

• • Degree in Computer Science or work experience equivalent to it.
  • Experience developing in Python 3 and Python web application frameworks or similar languages or frameworks.
  • More than 1-year experience developing and operating product-ready API (AuthN/AuthZ, kind of complext SQL, integration with external systems based on API)
  • Experience quality assurance using automated testing or something similar.
  • Experience designing databases with PostgreSQL or similar open-source RDBM systems.
  • Excellent conversational English.

  • Experience designing and developing GraphQL APIs.
  • Experience using container technologies.
  • Experience with performance-tuning of databases.
  • Experience with monitoring of Web applications.
  • Experience designing and developing distributed systems using AWS SNS/SQS.
  • Experience with payment systems on data sales platforms and related domain knowledge.
  • Experience in management or interest in management positions in the future.
