As a system engineer in Cyber Security you will deploy your cyber security expert knowledge across C2 organization to provide agile, responsive cyber security support to meet customer’s needs. You will be cybersecurity operations responsible driving the C2 organization through a diversity of projects and products towards meeting current and future cyber security expectations from our customers.

Responsibilities

The role and your most important tasks:

You will be the anchor point of bringing your cyber security skills to bear across a wide array of projects and in various stages of the project lifecycle – from proposal to maintenance, learning and leveraging a breadth of skill sets. Security engineering, security architecting, vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, incident response, authorization and accreditation, embedded cybersecurity are all countermeasures that your will be dealing with in close collaboration with sales, product management, systems -, hardware – and software engineering teams. Your primary areas of responsibility are:

• Identify vulnerabilities in existing systems/products and assist with eliminating/reducing their impact.
• Integrate Customer Security Requirements in the products.
• Design and Implement Security Controls and integrate into the products/systems.
• Assist Development Teams to follow secure product development lifecycle.
• Secure product development lifecycle support.
• Assist product management in early gate activities including technology road mapping.
• Response to day-2-day request as security subject matter expert.
• Participate in conferences, workshops and customer meetings to represent Terma as Cybersecurity subject matter expert.

Profile

Your experience and education:

• You bring relevant education, i.e., Master’s degree in engineering, computer science with cybersecurity as specialization.
• You bring 2 – 5 years of experience in secure development and security standards e.g. NIST / IEEE / ISO IEC.
• You are a subject matter expert in various information security disciplines like cryptographs and design-based security solution.
• You possess high understanding of systems engineering, architecture, development, design principals and experience in embedded, large software systems and/or defense systems.
• You are used to produce system specifications and are able to carry through the technical solution according to these specifications, from the initial idea until end-of-life of the product.
• You thrive in an environment with independent and overall responsibility for the technical part of a development project.
