Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues
  • Assist with the installation, configuration, and ongoing usability of system hardware and software
  • Document and maintain IT inventory
  • Install and troubleshoot physical network cabling

Profile

Required

  • Minimum one year of previous IT work experience
  • Windows desktop operating systems
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Power Point)
  • Software and printer troubleshooting
  • Understanding of TCP/IP and troubleshooting Internet connectivity
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Excellent attention to detail and follow-through
  • Able to take direction, working well both on a team and alone

Desired

  • Certifications in A+, Network+, MTA, or MCP
  • Mac/Apple product experience
  • Linux experience
  • Prior experience in small company, start-up, or growth transition environments
