Responsibilities

The Spacecraft Lead Systems Engineer will participate in flight spacecraft system conceptual and detailed spacecraft design through Assembly, Integration, and Testing (AIT), launch, and on-orbit operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and maintain system requirements for flight spacecraft hardware and software
• Perform trade studies and analyses for spacecraft hardware selection
• Manage Attitude Determination and Control System (ADCS) design and procurements
• Manage communications hardware design and procurements
• Manage spacecraft harnessing and interface design
• Support regulatory and customer payload technical exchanges
• Support AIT planning and execution for flight spacecraft and subsystems
• Create test plans and procedures to validate spacecraft and subsystem performance
• Support on-orbit operations and flight anomaly resolution activities
• Develop risk mitigation strategies

Education & Work Experience

• Minimum BS in Engineering plus 3 years relevant experience
