About this job

We are recruiting a Change Manager & Adoption Practitioner for Sapienza to work on our Customers Site (European Space Agency in Italy – ESRIN). The role is embedded in a team that provides communication and project support to end users’ digital workplace capabilities (collaboration tools, smart space and unified communication) across the Agency.

 

The section is maintaining a continuous watch on digital workplace technology and, in collaboration with the user communities, is establishing projects to develop and transfer to operation new digital workplace capabilities. The team’s objective is to provide IT Change Management, Adoption and Project support services during the design, implementation and PGLS phases of IT projects.

 

The team is responsible for:

  • Preparation of end-user’s communication for each change
  • Designing of the training material and support
  • Supporting the project execution in each of its phases

 

Projects in the pipeline include:

  • Office 365 – introduction in the Agency of the Office 365 ecosystem. The project scope includes the migration of emails, libraries and Notes applications and the design of a new MacOs and Windows image
  • IAM – design and deploy of an Identity and Access Management tool (IBM IGI). The project scope includes the definition of the IT user’s digital identity, its lifecycles and the required interfaces and processes to provision IT services to end users
  • Digital signature – design and deploy of digital certificate to allow digital signature. The project scope include the design and set-up of the required infrastructure and services
  • ESAnow – configuration of the Agency request management, asset management and recharge management tool based on the ServiceNow SaaS
  • Directory Services – redesign AD Services to improve security (ATP, multifactor authentication for admin) and control (strong integration with IAM)
  • Directory Services – design, pilot and bring to operation a new directory service per external users based on MS Azure AD
  • Software Metering – design and bring to operation a solution for software metering

Responsibilities

  • Create, maintain and execute training and communication strategy/plans
  • Maintain and manage Learning contents on various platforms (i.e Project and HR Learning portals)
  • Create and execute project communications to end users
  • Manage training and communication email accounts
  • Identify and assess future and current training needs (including audience and methods)
  • Monitor training results and develop improvement actions
  • Collaborate with Suppliers for training delivery, learning and communication materials creation
  • Counsel project managers on adoption and change management initiatives
  • Attendance of regular weekly and meetings with the ESA staff responsible for the service
  • Interfacing with the appropriate teams, be they within this service description or with external suppliers that relate to this service

Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
  • Minimum 3 years professional experience in the area of adoption and change management
  • Knowledgeable about ESA’s environment, would be an asset
  • Strong communication skills – ability to engage people and clearly articulate messages and contents (not only IT) with examples
  • Familiar with IBM (Lotus) Notes and Office 365
  • Excellent verbal and written communications in English
  • Excellent ability to work in a team
  • Excellent effort estimation capabilities, even based on minimum expressed requirements
  • Ability to work in a high pressure, customer focused environment
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills
  • Fluent in English; knowledge of another ESA member-state language is an asset
