Responsibilities

The Alternate Contractor Program Security Officer (ACPSO) will be responsible for supporting the Contract Program Security Office (CPSO) with program security implementation at GKN Aerospace Saint Louis location in Saint Louis, MO.  The applicant will report directly to the Director of Security, Saint Louis on all security matters, processes and procedures: The individual will work closely with security management and assigned program staff on all aspects of special program security.  The ACPSO will be responsible for performing some disciplines within security to include; personnel security, physical security, communications security, document control, and visitor control. The applicant must have a working knowledge and experience with the below responsibilities.

Job Responsibilities

  • Implementing the requirements of the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), Special Access Program (SAP) Manual, Intelligence Community Directives (ICDs), and other government directives as applicable
  • Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS), Secure Web Fingerprint Transmission (SWFT), and other security applications and databases (i.e. Access Commander and/or SIMS)
  • Experience with providing support to program managers on security processes and procedures
  • Process program specific personnel security clearances
  • Issuing/Programing access control badges as required •    Knowledge of procedures in safeguarding and accountability of all classified materials •    Participate in the company’s Insider Threat Program (ITP) •    Participate in security self-assessments •    Participate in the company’s Security Education, Training, and Awareness (SETA) program; and assist in the administration of all security education and training for the program •    Knowledge of critical infrastructure (i.e.; alarm systems, access controls systems, fire alarms, etc.) and the ability to interface with companies that provide these services •    All other duties as assigned

Profile

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, criminal justice or related field or 5 years of years of experience supporting Special Access Programs (SAPs) with working knowledge of the NISPOM and Intelligence Community Directives in leui of degree.
  • 2 or more years of experience supporting Special Access Programs (SAPs).
  • Previously working knowledge of the NISPOM and Intelligence Community Directives.
  • Must have an active DOD Secret Clearance with last investigation completed within 5 years.
  • Must be a US Citizen due to program security clearance requirements and/or SSA requirements.

  • GKN experience
  • Must possess good organizational skills, accuracy, communication and interpersonal skills, and be detail-oriented
  • Must be able to prioritize tasks and handle multiple assignments concurrently
  • Excellent written, verbal and collaboration skills
