Responsibilities
- Module and cross-product administration/engineering of existing and development of new solutions taking into account the requirements of SAP AG, best practice and RUAG’s internal policies.
- Business administration/engineering and customizing of the SAP modules Sales and Distribution (SD) and Project Systems (PS)
- Mapping, understanding and optimizing business processes in the SAP environment
- Internal reviews and the resulting development of optimization measures in the technical environment
- Creation and performing of application tests in compliance with quality criteria
- Collaboration in the creation and optimization of developer guidelines
- Advising business partners in operational and project business with regard to SAP Sales and Distribution and Project Systems
- Preparation of quotations and cost estimates
- Collaboration in and (technical) (partial) management of projects or orders in the SAP environment
- Implementing changes as part of the change management process
- Training/transfer of knowledge and support of employees, business partners & key users
- Organization and moderation of regular SAP SD/PS application boards
- Analysis and correction of reported faults (2nd level support)
- Cause analysis and elimination of problems within the context of the problem management process
- Planning and organization orderly business transfers
Profile
- B.S. Degree in Engineering, computer science, or related field
- 3+ years of directly related experience
- Must be self-motivated, able to work both independently and in a team setting, and must show initiative
- Must be able to effectively manage multiple projects/tasks of varying complexities, meet deadlines and work well under pressure
- Must demonstrate a high level of detail/accuracy
- Proven customer service skills while maintaining a confidential work environment
- Ability to maintain a professional presence and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels within the organization (internally and externally)
- Must have high proficiency in MS Office, MS Project, and excellent written and verbal communication skills
