Responsibilities

• Module and cross-product administration/engineering of existing and development of new solutions taking into account the requirements of SAP AG, best practice and RUAG’s internal policies.
• Business administration/engineering and customizing of the SAP modules Sales and Distribution (SD) and Project Systems (PS)
• Mapping, understanding and optimizing business processes in the SAP environment
• Internal reviews and the resulting development of optimization measures in the technical environment
• Creation and performing of application tests in compliance with quality criteria
• Collaboration in the creation and optimization of developer guidelines
• Advising business partners in operational and project business with regard to SAP Sales and Distribution and Project Systems
• Preparation of quotations and cost estimates
• Collaboration in and (technical) (partial) management of projects or orders in the SAP environment
• Implementing changes as part of the change management process
• Training/transfer of knowledge and support of employees, business partners & key users
• Organization and moderation of regular SAP SD/PS application boards
• Analysis and correction of reported faults (2nd level support)
• Cause analysis and elimination of problems within the context of the problem management process
• Planning and organization orderly business transfers

Profile

• B.S. Degree in Engineering, computer science, or related field
• 3+ years of directly related experience
• Must be self-motivated, able to work both independently and in a team setting, and must show initiative
• Must be able to effectively manage multiple projects/tasks of varying complexities, meet deadlines and work well under pressure
• Must demonstrate a high level of detail/accuracy
• Proven customer service skills while maintaining a confidential work environment
• Ability to maintain a professional presence and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels within the organization (internally and externally)
• Must have high proficiency in MS Office, MS Project, and excellent written and verbal communication skills
