Sapienza Consulting, a Serco company, is recruiting a Coordinator Officer for Sapienza to work on our Customers Site (ESA-ESTEC).

Responsibilities

  • Drafting, proof reading/editing, and in general supporting scripting programme board documents for the JCB (Joint Communication Board) concerning the activities executed in the Directorate of Telecommunications and Integrated Applications (TIA). JCB will supervise multiple declarations
  • Support writing briefing notes and provide support as first line point of contact for Member States, corporate entities and other programme directorates.
  • Support Member State coordination activities, research and analysis of MS priorities, follow up discussions, collect feedback from executive, preparation of bilateral meetings.
  • Prepare reports and (power) point presentations in support of interaction with DG Cabinet and various other corporate and programme directorate entities.
  • Drafting communication articles and suggesting inputs on recent TIA events and activities.
  • Aiding the organisation and operation of the JCB.
  • Maintain MS interaction platform.
  • Support the evolution of MS interaction platform, coordination of requirement gathering and support monitoring of implementation of evolution.

Profile

  • Master’s Degree with relevant experience.
  • At least 4 years of relevant work experience required.
  • A good understanding and monitoring of TIA Programmes as well as MS priorities in the domain of Telecommunications and Integrated Applications.
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to prepare synthetic text and presentations with a to the point targeted message, delivered in state-of-the-art visuals.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Ability to manage many interfaces in an international environment.
  • Virtuous analysis and relationship skills.
  • Good knowledge of Telecommunications and Integrated Applications activities in the context of the TIA’s mandate.
  • Thorough knowledge Microsoft 365 family and especially Teams.
  • Able to work in an autonomous way and set priorities.
  • Capacity to keep high quality of work under pressure.
  • Comfortable with working in a diverse and multinational team environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills are needed, together with a high degree organizational and communication abilities
  • Proficient in the English language, both written and spoken.
  • Knowledge of another EU member state language is an asset.
  • Candidates must be eligible to work in the EU.
