Would you like a real software development challenge in the hidden world of advanced security surveillance and mission systems solutions?

We work on mission-critical solutions for the Navy.

At our office in Herlev, you will join our Software Development Department within the C2 domain (command and control), which is an area of great focus and importance in Terma. Here, you will meet 60 colleagues in Herlev and 30 in Lystrup who are dedicated to delivering security for countries, alliances and individuals.

In C2, stable, interdisciplinary and independent teams work on agile principles and methods focusing on continuous improvement of planning, quality, knowledge sharing and innovation. We work amongst other things with Java, JIRA, Jenkins, Artifactory, Sonarqube and IntelliJ. As we are experiencing a strong positive development, we are looking for dedicated Software Engineers for Herlev who will help build on our success.

Responsibilities

As a developer, you will collaborate closely with our scrum masters, product owners and developers in order to design best in class C2 systems. In short, this means that you:

  • You have 5+ years of experience with develop and code new and existing software – mostly in Java.
  • Carry out unit testing of the implemented software.
  • Carry out user requirement analysis and software requirement specifications.
  • Partake in scrum meetings with your team.

Profile

We are looking for much of the following:

  • Experience with object-oriented Java development.
  • Parallel programming and proper thread handling/synchronization.
  • Design patterns and solid design Patterns.
  • Experience with Large legacy systems.
  • Version controlling systems.
  • Problem solving skills.
  • Relevant education such as a Master of Science in Engineering, a Bachelor of Engineering, or Computer Scientist.
  • Strong English skills.

Also: If you have experience with the technology stack we use (JIRA, Jenkins, artifactory and Sonarqube) this is a great advantage. Likewise, we would love to hear from you, if you know C++, GIS systems or would like to work with frontend, as these are competencies we will need in the future.
