ESSP, a private company with 7 major European Air Navigation Service Providers as shareholders, manages the operation and supports the adoption of the European Satellite Based Augmentation System to GPS: EGNOS.

The adoption of this service is rapidly growing given it allows correcting the GPS signal and offers enhanced features with accurate positioning and integrity within safety-of-life services context such as public transportation.

Responsibilities

Within the Service & GNSS Projects Development Department, the Aviation Consultancy Services Development Expert supports the Service Development Manager leading the Aviation Consultancy Services Development activities. She/He also supports the Service Development contribution to company’s GNSS and CNS (Communications Navigation & Surveillance)/ATM (Air Traffic Management) projects.

The Aviation Consultancy Services Development Expert is responsible for:

Support the Service Development team managing the Aviation Consultancy Services (ACS) project implementation, in terms of definition, supervision and execution in the following activities:

  • Yearly Aviation Consultancy Services Action Plan definition,
  • Project management planning, development, monitoring and reporting,
  • Product development planning and development,
  • Close coordination with the Strategy & Business Development team in the definition and the execution of the approved ACS Plan,
  • Support to commercialisation and promotion planning and development,
  • Corporate interfacing and support to pre-sales duties and representation,
  • Opportunities management and support to proposals preparation,
  • ACS Projects coordination and technical execution.

Support the Service Development department in GNSS and ATM projects implementation, in terms of:

  • Project definition,
  • Proposal preparation,
  • Project management and coordination, execution.

  • Strong knowledge of aviation sector, CNS/ATM and PBN (Performance Based Navigation) framework, Single European Sky (SES) regulation

Job Requirements:

Available for regular travel, especially in Europe.

Minimum 8 years of experience in the aviation sector and five years of experience in a field relevant to PBN, CNS/ATM, GNSS/EGNOS Services and Applications.

Engineering Master degree or equivalent.

Experience in projects in an international context (European).
