About this job

Our client will develop technologies and produce products around three main streams: Aeronautical Satcom Technologies, Satellite Modem Technologies and Enablement of other Satcom Products and Technologies. It will leverage the significant knowledge and expertise establishment in the UAE and will be complemented by select international experts to build a global leader in this sector. The first seed project entails the development of a protected, multi-platform satellite modem for government and defence markets in the UAE and internationally.
 
We are seeking a ‘hands-on’ EVP Aeronautical who would be responsible for research, design, engineer, test and deliver aeronautical Satcom products and services to the market. You will build your own team of around 15-20 people so strong leadership experience would be essential.

Responsibilities

• Develop concepts, products and solutions for the aeronautical Satcom technologies
• Coordinate with various departments to formulate the aeronautical portfolio
• Build, manage and improve the team structure, resources and tools
• Research and maintain market trends knowledge in aeronautical technologies and suggest product concepts
• Manage aeronautical product development, upgrade existing products and innovate processes, and product features
• Study the local market and study efficiency on product development and manufacturing

Profile

• Engineering degree in relevant subject
• 15 years+ hands-on aeronautical Satcom design experience 
• Strong knowledge of Satellite Antenna products (Phased Array, Flat Panel…..)
• Strong leadership experience
• Start up experience would be advantageous
