Sapienza Consulting is recruiting a Registry Clerk/Classified Material Controller to work at NATO NCIA in Mons, Belgium

Responsibilities

With guidance from Head of Registry and under local supervision of Registry Chief Clerk, incumbent will perform duties such as following:

  • Perform tasks related to secure handling and processing of classified information and materials including CTS A/B Control Points under SHAPE CTS Registry
  • Performing maintenance of NCIA electronic document management system: inputs, categorises and indexes electronic documents, scans paper documents as required and performs searches as required
  • Performing inventory checks of classified material mandated by NATO regulations
  • Assist in maintenance of NCIA NS database including: new entries, loans, and corrections as required. Controls and implements amendments and changes to reports, with particular reference to classified material
  • Performing and preparing reports for destruction, taking part in destruction of documents and all information carriers, obtains report material on loan from other organizations
  • Perform any other duties as may be required within framework of Registry services

Profile

  • Required Security Clearance: NATO Cosmic Top Secret
  • Be familiar with NATO Security documentation and related security procedures as applied in NATO
  • Knowledge and experience in administration and management of CTS Information
  • Prior experience of working in international environment comprising both military and civilian elements
  • Knowledge of NATO responsibilities and organization, including ACO and ACT
  • Good general education at secondary level or equivalent combination of qualifications and experience
  • 3+ years of progressively detailed experience in information support functions including information lifecycle best practices, in particular those pertaining to organization, accessibility, transmission, storage and protection
  • Good practical knowledge of IT applications and of current office software packages with emphasis on use of SharePoint, MS Office suite and document management systems
  • Good knowledge and experience of international best practices and standards in field of information management and be familiar with lifecycle management of records
  • Experience in managing classified and accountable Information/material
  • Conversant with use of documentary databases
  • Good understanding of information security as it applies to documentation
  • Good understanding of customer service in context of information retrieval
