Sapienza Consulting is recruiting a SharePoint Technician to work at NATO NCIA in Mons, Belgium.

Responsibilities

• Managing site collections of IKM Tools, based on SharePoint 2007, 2013 and 2016
• Configuring security at site level on related IKM Tools side (EDMS/TT+/NIP)
• Creating and owning sub-sites
• Creating lists, blogs, wiki’s etc.
• Creating and configuring site features in SharePoint
• Mapping business issues to SharePoint functions
• Creating site level policies
• Giving guidance on design best practice
• Editing master pages IKM Tools
• Creating page layouts, based on SharePoint
• Creating of SharePoint Solutions and Templates
• Creating and maintaining SharePoint functionalities
• Using SharePoint object model
• Creating SQL queries
• Creating and maintaining Documentations/Guides
• Sharing knowledge and collaboration in team
• Record issues as they arise
• Manage and Dispatch tickets within TTE/TT+/DHS/EDMS and NIP support staff
• Perform necessary troubleshooting activities in order to resolve issues
• Implement solutions and workarounds in accordance with NCIA Configuration Control Procedures
• Prioritize issues in accordance with operational requirements and in coordination with System Management team
• Update incident management system and knowledge base
• Liaise with 1M Tools section staff as required
• Assist local and remote system administrators with daily routine maintenance as required

Profile

• Required Security Clearance: NATO Secret
• Languages: English mandatory, French appreciated
• Academics: Bachelor’s degree related to IT (system administration, development, information management), or min 10 years of experience in desired skills.
• Certifications: MCSD: SharePoint Applications, MCTS (desirable)
• Large IT organization, IT department in large organization or in a governmental institution
• Significant working experience in NATO or MoD
• SharePoint portal/intranet troubleshooting
• Virtualized environments
• Installation & roll-out of IKM tools
• Analyse requirements and customer requests and report to responsible supervisor
• Requirements capture and definition (I.e. UML)
• Development methodologies (i.e. Agile)
• Requirements analysis and documentation
• Technical and user guide documentation
• Experience in SharePoint Server 2007/2010/2013 administration to include complex farm setups and custom solution deployment / troubleshooting
• Windows 2008 and 2012 Server Administration
• SQL Server 2005/2008/2012/2014 administration and troubleshooting and database mirroring
• Some knowledge of Tasker Tracker Enterprise (TTE); Tasker Tracker Plus (TT+); DHS / EDMS; NATO Information Portal; ITSM; NATO IKM
• Extensive knowledge of NIP tool, ACO environment and integration with EDMS, TT+, legacy DHS and legacy TTE tools
