Sapienza Consulting is recruiting a System Administrator (Active Directory) to work at NATO NCIA in Mons, Belgium

Responsibilities

• Administers and monitors SharePoint farms for any glitches or problems
• SQL troubleshooting, restoring and disaster recovery
• Develops organizational units in Active Directory (AD) and managed user security with group policies
• Troubleshoot and resolve Active Directory, GPO, Active Directory Federated Services, and password/identity management systems
• Manages system security, system patching and upgrades
• Monitoring performance of assigned systems and definition and implementation of adequate measures ensuring optimal performance and high availability of DB services

Profile

• Required Security Clearance: NATO Secret
• Expertise in implementation and maintenance activities of Active Directory Domain Services and Active Directory Federation Services in large enterprise environments consisting of multiple interconnected and federated Active Directory Domains and Forests
• Experience in operating systems such as Windows Server 2012 / Windows Server 2016
• Deep knowledge of Active Directory replication
• Deep knowledge of authentication protocols
• Extensive experience of implementing configuration and security settings through AD Group policies
• Extensive experience of ADFS trusts, claims and authentication protocols
• Practical experience in diagnosing and troubleshooting Active Directory Domain Services and Active Directory Federation Services
• Experience with deployment of PKI digital certificates

Desirable Skills

• Graduate degree in Computer and Information Systems Technology or equivalent level of qualification or professional accreditation by related engineering Institute or professional body
• Extensive knowledge of secure information systems
• Prior experience of working in international environment comprising both military and civilian elements
