Sapienza Consulting is recruiting a Senior Technician (Change Management) to work at NATO NCIA in Sigonella, Italy.

Responsibilities

• Executes service asset configuration management process as SACM Coordinator
• Applies configuration control to all applicable hardware, software and network components
• Ensures that all change requests are recorded correctly in CMDB
• Responsible for organization and management of Definitive Software Library (DSL) and publishing and filing of CM documentation and procedures
• Responsible for day-to-day management of Configuration Management Database
• Responsible for media control, reproduction and distribution IAW approved operating procedures
• Responsible for license status accounting and reporting including allocation and surplus of licenses
• Applies CM procedures to baselines creation and stores their master copies
• Contribute to problem management and change management processes
• Gathers all information necessary for Request for Change (RFC) approval process
• Serves as Administrator to support Office of Commander (visit administration, in processing)
• Support to logistic cell
• Performing other duties within NCI Agency’s area of business as may be required

Profile

• Required Security Clearance: NATO Secret
• Relevant experience in support of CIS Service Asset Configuration Management process.
• Working knowledge of ITIL processes and procedures
• Sound technical knowledge on CIS (end-user equipment, wide area networks and local area networks)
• Experience in configuration control procedures for hardware, software and network items
• Experience in Definitive Software Library (DSL) organization
• Experience in system analysis procedures and modern computer systems and networks
• Experience in automated data gathering tools
