Sapienza Consulting is recruiting a RDS Infrastructure Engineer to work at NATO NCIA in Mons, Belgium.

Responsibilities

Contractor will provide Level 3 support for Core Services in assigned DCIS. Tasks assigned, include but not limited to:

• Contractor, under guidance from NCIA Leading Engineer, will be supporting Deployable IT Infrastructure
• Under guidance and coordination of service owners will maintain Core Enterprise Services that include: Active Directory, Domain Trusts, Exchange Servers, DNS Management, Group Policy Management, McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator for Endpoint Protection and software update services
• Contractor principle duty will be to support a number of Remote Desktop Gateway Services and perform RemoteApp provisioning and troubleshooting
• Contractor will support efforts of New CES Baseline Automated Deployment aiming at minimizing time required of provisioning new Deployable Kits
• Contractor shall support documentation of new Baseline Deployment Process and shall also support preparation of “As Built Guides” and or documentation for DCIS to be delivered to NATO CIS Group
• Contractor shall liaise with Agency’s Centralised Service Desk for incident, problem and change management
• Contractor may also assist with planning, coordination and implementation of other smaller infrastructure engineering projects or tasks as directed
• Contractor shall book hours spent on this task in electronic timesheets provided by NCI Agency. Contractor shall submit for validation timesheet recording number of hours spent each month to Service Manager within three business days after end of calendar month. Contractor shall submit timesheet with SM’s validation signature as attachment to invoice for that month. All tasks undertaken will be based upon agreement between SM and Contractor personnel
• Contractor may need to travel in order to perform his duties

Profile

• Required Security Clearance: NATO Cosmic Top Secret
• Three or more years of proven experience in the management of Core Services of a large Enterprise or Organization
• Experience of Windows Administration with relevant certifications; e.g. MCSA/MCSE
• At least three years experience in building, administrating, monitoring and troubleshooting large Windows RDS environments. Experience with RDS Monitoring and reporting tools like Syskit or RDPManager
• Excellent knowledge of entire Microsoft Operating system product line administration: Windows Server 2012R2, 2016, Windows 10., Exchange server 2013/2016
• Excellent knowledge in managing DNS Domains and DNS Resolution on Windows 2008/2012 R2 and Windows 2016
• Excellent knowledge of implementing and administering large Active Directory (AD) environments
• Good knowledge in VDI technology
• Good knowledge of maintaining virtualize environments based on VMWare vSphere technology
• Experience in troubleshooting client OS and client software problems
• Experience in Deployable CIS, core services level 3 support
• Driving licenses (B)

Desirable:

• Experience in other application provisioning technologies like Citrix or App-V
• Managing Windows Software Update Services
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Deployment Kit (MDT Kit)
• Working knowledge on VEEAM Backup and replication
• Good knowledge of managing and configuring McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator 5.1.3 and above
• Managing, maintaining and troubleshooting VMWare ESX, other vSphere products
• Experience in data storage technologies, like vSAN, iSCSI and small SANs (HP MSA)
• Solid appreciation of server, storage and networking hardware
• Good familiarization with HP Blade Server Products and HP rack based servers
• In-depth knowledge on network protocols and network management technology
