Sapienza Consulting is recruiting a Support to AGS and AFSC Architecture to join NATO-NCIA, at The Hague, Netherlands

Responsibilities

The senior solution architect consultant will execute the following main tasks:

  • Refresh, update and maintain the AFSC reference architecture development in accordance with NATO Architecture Framework
  • Refresh, update and maintain the AGS target architecture development in accordance with NATO Architecture Framework
  • Provide advice on the future strategy for integration of these and other JISR capabilities within the NATO domain
  • Provide meaningful input to envisioning architectures and deployment strategies that fit best the NATO requirements
  • Focus on solution designs and integration (across solution areas)

Profile

  • Required Security Clearance: NATO Secret
  • Technical / Systems Engineering qualifications with minimum 5 years of experience
  • Minimum 5 years of Architecture experience in designing large and complex solutions
  • Provide meaningful input to envisioning architectures and deployment strategies that fit best the NATO requirements
  • Focus on solution designs and integration (across solution areas)
  • Has extensive experience using architecture tooling (eg Archimate and Microsoft Visio)
  • Ability to transcribe existing architecture into architecture tooling
  • Will work on the SATCOM and ISR architectures at operational and system levels
  • NATO and/or military experience
  • Good understanding of military C2ISR concepts
  • Knowledge of existing/R&D civilian and military surveillance & reconnaissance systems and technologies
  • Expert in TOGAF and NAF
  • Experience with System of Systems solution design
  • Experienced in UML, BPMN and Modelling Tools
  • Able to capture and analyze requirements and manage opposing point of views
  • Able to conceptualize large complex integrated solutions
  • Able to receive and execute tasking in-accordance with direction from NCI Agency engineers
  • Strong listening skills
  • Strong English writing skills

Desirable:

  • o Familiar with NATO C3 Taxonomy
  • o Knowledge of NATO Functional Area Services
  • o Knowledge of SATCOM architecture
  • o Knowledge of NATO Communication and Information Systems Infrastructure
  • o Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, SharePoint at an advanced user level
  • o Motivated, good communication skills, team player
  • o Responsible to deliver architecture artefacts in accordance with tasking
