Sapienza Consulting is recruiting a Configuration Management Assistant to work at NATO-NCIA in The Hague.

Responsibilities

  • Process all project/programme change proposals and waivers, whether they are contractual or engineering, highlight non-conformances and other discrepancies to the POCs and ensure that correct information is processed
  • Update the CM Tool for all Configuration Items (CI) and their change status
  • Prepare periodic configuration status reports;- Prepare other CM reports for internal and external distribution, as required;- Provide expert support to project managers concerning the above duties (matrix support), as directed
  • Administer the CM databases and web sites; – Prepare contract amendment packages and updates the CM tool as required
  • Maintain configuration baseline documentation
  • Assist the Head-CM Section in conducting physical configuration audits and data reviews and participating, as required, in Preliminary Design Reviews (PDRs), Critical Design Reviews (CDRs) and Programme Reviews as required
  • Assist in the preparation and conduct of CM specific meetings such as Change Advisory Boards (CABs), Configuration Control Boards (CCBs) and Change Implementation Boards (CIBs) and acts where required as meeting secretary

Profile

  • Secondary, or higher, general education
  • Vocational training at higher level in a relevant discipline, or equivalent combination of qualifications and experience
  • As a minimum 8 years of experience in the application of lifecycle Configuration Management (CM)
  • Practical experience in using computer-based configuration management tools, preferably LASCOM PLM
  • Formal training in CM
  • Experience with NATO CM policy, processes and procedures
  • Experience of working in an international environment. Must to hold a NATO Secret Security Clearance
  • Fluent in English and knowledge of another NATO member-state language is an asset
  • Candidates must be eligible to work in the EU
