Sapienza Consulting, a tpgroup company, is recruiting a Principal Learning Assistant CSB for Sapienza to work on our Customers Site (NATO NCIA).

Responsibilities

Under the direction of the Learning Coordination and Support Branch Head, the incumbent will perform duties such as the following:

  • Coordinate with internal activities (Security, Building-Facilities, etc.) and conduct all administrative tasks regarding physically processing students in and out of the NCI Academy on a weekly basis;
  • Administer individual course iterations on a weekly basis and provide quality assurance of student and funding data;
  • Develop ad hoc reports based on Training Management System data as requested by management on the status of NCI Academy Courses and students;
  • Provide 1st line customer support to Training Coordinators and students from over 60 external agencies to develop timely solutions to emerging problems and issues;
  • Assist and facilitate the creation and management of annual academic schedule via the Training Management System;
  • Advise Academy management on all aspects of Academy training assets, schedules and plans;
  • Communicate and coordinate with the Host Nation compound support personnel regarding student support and activity;
  • Provide real-life support to NCI Academy students including facilitating medical support with the Host Nation compound and coordinating access to commercial medical services;
  • Determine requirements, coordinate local support and facilitate events from various Agency Service Lines or NATO entities to include workshops, symposiums and seminars;
  • Coordinate local support and assist in the execution of the Annual NCI Academy Conference;

Profile

  • Required Security Clearance: NATO Secret
  • A minimum of 3 years of progressively responsible experience in an Education or Training facility or in the training department of a NATO command or international organization;
  • Experience leading and managing small team of experts;
  • Experience managing complex scheduling and allocation of resources, preferably in an academic or training setting or similar environment;
  • Substantive experience and proficiency with an online Training or Learning Management system and associated tools (e.g. SAP LMS);
  • Proven customer service experience communicating with customers, internal staff, external entities and stakeholders;
  • Proven ability to manage multiple and competing demands and a rapidly changing environment;
  • Experience creating and managing data visualization and reports.
  • Desirable Experience
  • University Degree in an education, communications, information technology or similar field or greater than 8 years of experience with an emphasis on training or exercise planning;
  • Experience with organizing and executing conferences, workshops, or small professional events;
  • Project leadership experience;
  • Ability to read and speak Portuguese and English;
  • Knowledge of NATO responsibilities and organization, including ACO and ACT.
