Sapienza Consulting is recruiting an IT Technical Writer to work at NATO NCIA in Mons, Belgium. It is a Fixed Term Contract until the end of December 2019.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, organize, write and edit operational procedures and manuals in respect to IT Service Management;
• Research, develop and document technical design specifications and test scripts;
• Produce electronic documentation in addition to hard copy manuals;
• Maintain a comprehensive library of technical terminology and documentation;
• Analyse documents to maintain continuity of style of content;
• Manage updates and revisions to technical literature through change management;
• Publish documentation on enterprise information portals and document handling systems;

Profile

• Successful candidate will hold a university degree in information systems engineering, information technology or related discipline. Exceptionally, the lack of a university degree may be compensated by the demonstration of particular abilities or experience of interest to the Agency. A post-secondary training in IT will be considered an asset;
• 3 years of Technical Writing experience required;
• Must hold an ITIL Foundation Level Certificate;
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills;
• Highly organized, deadline oriented, quality focused;
• Advanced skills in MS Office; Visio, Adobe Acrobat;
• A solid understanding of usability principles in the development of software;
• Knowledge of HTML and/or content management software;
• Must to Hold a NATO Secret Security Clearance;
• Fluent in English; knowledge of another NATO member-state language is an asset;
• Candidates must be eligible to work in the EU.
