Sapienza Consulting is recruiting a Transition Manager to work at NATO-NCIA in Mons, Belgium.

It is a Fixed Term Contract until the end of December 2019.

Responsibilities

  • Define and lead the creation and implementation of the transition strategy for the establishment of the new SIEM operations team, within the defined operational framework;
  • Plan and implement the set-up of the new SIEM operations team, together with the transfer of key information necessary for the support, operation and acceptance of solutions deployed into production this includes operational readiness and support documentation;
  • Build transition plans;
  • Coordinate implementation activities;
  • Create and implement an operational Change process;
  • Ensure a seamless transition of people and processes;
  • Liaise with all stakeholders within the organisation and external IT partners;
  • Oversee and support procurement processes, including insourcing and outsourcing agreements, in order to ensure tasks are delivered within agreed scope, time, cost and quality limits;
  • Support reporting and communications with the Cybersecurity Service Line
  • Using the MS-EPM (Microsoft Enterprise Project Management) framework used by NCIA, develop and maintain agreed project plans and detailed stage plans in compliance with the NCIA’s directives and project management best practices;
  • Monitor and control project progress to ensure resources are consumed in accordance with the approved budget and within the approved timelines;
  • Identify, escalate and manage project risks;
  • Ensure the project is delivered within time cost and quality.

Profile

  • Knowledge of a service transition methodology, ideally, a formal service management qualification;
  • A university degree at a recognised university in Management or related discipline,equivalent to a Master’s degree or higher, supplemented by relevant postgraduate qualifications;
  • The lack of a university degree may be compensated by the demonstration of particular abilities or experience of interest to the Agency and experience of 12 years;
  • A formal project management qualification such as PRINCE 2 or PMI PMP;
  • Extensive experience in the management of large Cybersecurity or ICT projects;
  • Experience of transitioning complex IT projects;
  • Ability to work and team effectively with IT Services groups and other management personnel including on a global, virtual basis;
  • Proactive attitude in seeking and maintaining trust from stakeholders.
  • Must hold NATO Secret Security Clearance;
  • Fluent in English; knowledge of another NATO member-state language
  • Candidates must be eligible to work in the EU
