Sapienza Consulting is recruiting an Asset Mngmnt Assistant to join NATO – NCIA at Braine-l’Alleud, Wallonia, Belgium

Responsibilities

  • Uses the ERP (Oracle basis) System to process the various transactions
  • Assists and interacts with the AMSB staff and Warehouse
  • Inventory monitors and oversees all the equipment under his/her responsibility
  • Co-ordinates any requirements
  • Responsible for property accounting/posting control
  • Takes action in case of deficiencies and equipment damage and initiates discrepancy procedures
  • Conduct Asset Management Activities/Support throughout NATO
  • Conduct warehouse movement and re-organization activity to support the centralization policy of the Agency
  • Scan equipment, update databases and labeling of equipment
  • Receive non-ICT deliveries from vendors and NCIA shuttles
  • Manage non-ICT storage space (mostly furniture related)
  • Maintain asset records in EBA (mostly: movement in/out of storage, updating final locations post-delivery)
  • Coordinate non-ICT asset disposals
  • • Perform the annual inventory non-ICT at BLL
  • Provision of office supplies & branded items to staff
  • Willing to manage and handle materials
  • Some physical work, e.g. moving and lifting of equipment should be expected.
  • In addition, the Contractor needs to be familiar with the handling and safety issues of handling CIS Assets (equipment)
  • Assists with general cleanliness of all storage areas

Profile

  • Required Security Clearance: NATO Secret
  • Higher Vocational training in Supply, Logistics, or Warehouse Management with 4 years minimum experience
  • Experience in Inventorying CIS Equipment for accountability and accuracy
  • Experience in identification and corrections of Asset Management Deficiencies.
  • Experience in Stock Management processes
  • Knowledge and experience using ORACLE database systems Scanning Assets
  • Candidates must be eligible to work in the EU
