Sapienza Consulting, a tpgroup company, is recruiting a Project Implementation Manager to join NATO – NCIA in Mons, Wallonia, Belgium.

Responsibilities

  • Administer everyday workflow of all implementation processes and provide technical support as required
  • Lead/deliver projects or individual Work Packages, according to schedule, budget and quality requirements; from start-up to closure
  • Interact with internal and external stakeholders, including Contractors and NATO organizations
  • Follow-up project execution: documentation review, testing, delivery etc
  • Act as a team member or large projects
  • Be ready to act independently either as Test, Migration, or Requirements Manager
  • Support the project manager and other project team members as required
  • Adhere to NCI Agency guidance and directives, and more generally NATO Standards Professional Contacts:
  • The incumbent is responsible for:
  • Establishing and maintaining close contacts with the sponsors of the project(s) assigned to him/her and NATO Communications and Information Agency customers
  • Coordination and cooperation with work in other Service Lines and Groups within the NATO Communications and Information Agency
  • Establishing and maintaining internal and external contacts with other engineers and military staff concerned with related or similar efforts in Organizations such as Allied Command Operations (ACO), NATO, national Ministry of Defence (MOD), NATO Agencies, and private scientific or industrial organizations Language:
  • Thorough knowledge of one of the two NATO languages, both written and spoken, is essential and some knowledge of the other is desirable
  • NOTE: Most of the work of the NCI Agency is conducted in the English language

Profile

  • Required Security Clearance: NATO Secret
  • Proven experience in the implementation of IT projects, including coordination, planning and scheduling of the deployment of end user devices to remote locations
  • Sound knowledge of Integrated Logistic Support processes (i.e. supply, transportation)
  • Extensive experience with project planning tools (i.e. MS Project)
  • Sound knowledge of IT Services Lifecycle
  • Knowledge and experience in state-of-the-art technologies, relevant to the work
  • Fluent in English; proven ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing with good briefing skills
  • Experience of working in an (international) environment, comprising both military and civilian staff
  • Desirable:
  • ITIL, Prince2, PMP, Scrum certification
  • A Bachelor Degree in IT related disciplines; or, in the alternative, Vocational training and 5+ years of previous experience as Implementation Manager
