Sapienza Consulting, a tpgroup company, is recruiting a Senior Technician to join NATO – NCIA in Mons, Wallonia, Belgium.

Responsibilities

• Administers Requests for Change, reviews and closes Requests for Change and reports on results
• Assists in formulating service delivery plans for support to peacetime, crisis and exercise operations
• Advises requestors in formulating, completing and correcting requests
• Maintains a sound knowledge of existing processes and procedures, puts forward suggestions for improving them or promoting new ones
• Coordinates, advises and conducts work to meet quality targets as defined in the Local Service Level Agreements
• Advises in particular requesters (CIS POCs) in formulating, completing and correcting their requests
• Ensures that every request follows the correct workflow until related services have been delivered
• Maintains sound knowledge on implemented technologies and the supported sites within the CSU AOR

Profile

• Required Security Clearance: NATO Secret
• Vocational training at a higher level in an Information Technology, Data Networking
• or Telecommunications related discipline with 5 years related experience or equivalent combination of qualifications
• Experience in supporting IT users, desktop hardware and software
• Knowledge of current operating systems and commonly used office software
• Prior experience in working with IT Service Management Tools
• Working knowledge of ITIL processes and procedures
• Prior experience of working in an international environment comprising both military and civilian elements
• Knowledge of NATO responsibilities and organization, including ACO and ACT
• Candidates must be eligible to work in the EU
