Sapienza Consulting, a tpgroup company, is recruiting a Principal Assistant – Catalogue Manager (Maternity Leave Cover) to join NATO – NCIA in The Hague, South Holland, Netherlands.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain the NCI Academy C4ISR and Cyber Training Catalogue including course prices, in close coordination with NCI Academy staff and other stakeholders
  • Manage course documentation in ACT e-TEP to obtain required certification of the NCI Academy courses
  • Maintain course descriptions in selected databases, such as the Allied Command Transformation e-ITEP
  • Support the creation of the on-line Academy Catalogue in the NCI Academy Training Management System
  • Issue regular updates of the C4ISR and Cyber Training Catalogue and related publications
  • Develop communications products and maintain communication channels both internally and externally to the NCI Agency to publish and promote the Academy course offer
  • Use MS Office tools (particularly MS Excel and PowerPoint) to track, analyse and report on the following year’s training demand
  • Performs other duties as may be required

The incumbent is also responsible for:

  • Maintaining close contact with instructors and section heads
  • Maintaining close contact with the staff developing the following year’s training programme
  • Maintaining close contact with customer training points of contact
  • Maintaining close contact with managers of relevant databases
  • Supervisory/Guidance Duties: the incumbent may give professional guidance to staff
  • Business travel to NATO and national (NATO and non-NATO) facilities, as well as frequent travel between the NCI Agency offices, may be required

Profile

  • Required Security Clearance: NATO Secret
  • Vocational training at a higher level in a relevant discipline (e.g. Education, Business Management, Communication) or equivalent combination of qualifications and at least 8 years of experience relevant to this post
  • Experience in administration of course descriptions and related documentation
  • Significant experience in having full responsibility for a course catalogue or similar product
  • Experience in administration of a course catalogue for a technology-driven organisation
  • Experience with maintaining communication channels for promotional activities
  • Experience in maintaining databases
  • Higher-level skills in Microsoft Office suite, in particular Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint and databases
  • Desirable Experience and Education:
  • Experience with commercial-off-the-shelf Learning Management Systems
  • Knowledge of and working experience with the ACT Global Programming Approach for Education and Individual Training
  • Prior experience of working in an international environment comprising both military and civilian elements
  • Knowledge of NATO responsibilities and organization, including ACO and ACT
  • Language Proficiency: – A very good knowledge of one of the two NATO languages, both written and spoken, is essential and some knowledge of the other is desirable
  • NOTE: Most of the work of the NCI Agency is conducted in the English language
  • Candidates must be eligible to work in the EU
