Sapienza Consulting, a tpgroup company, is recruiting a C2 Serv Line- Friend Force Track to join NATO – NCIA in Mons, Wallonia, Belgium (Remote).

Responsibilities

The following requirements have been identified to provide technical support for the NHQ C3S POW 2022:

  • Redaction of the ADatP-35(B) FFT standard
  • Background The NATO Information and Communication Agency (NCI Agency) located in The Hague, The Netherlands, is currently involved in the preparation and publication of a new version of the ADatP-36 (Friendly Force Tracking (FFT)) standard (referred as the “Standard” this point onwards) as well as, together with NATO C3B, FMN directorate and the NATO Nations in the validation and correction of the issues in the Standard
  • The consultancy required by this statement of work will support the writing and redaction of the future version of the Standard, will support the development of FFT related SW and the identification andcorrection of errors in the Standard
  • The activity will start with the definition and redaction of the ADatP-36(B) final draft

Requested activities

  • Under the direction/guidance of a technical lead the software developer/technical writer will develop and maintain the NATO ADatP-36 NATO UNCLASSIFIED Friendly Force Tracking standard and will design and Friendly Force Tracking software modules

Profile

Specific Expertise Required:

  • The following expertise and knowledge is essential for this requirement:
  • Expert knowledge of NATO FFT specifications ADatP-36, related profiles and emerging standards;
  • Expert knowledge of the FMN FFT information management processes;
  • Expert knowledge of the NATO C3 Policies, including the Data Management Policy
  • Expert knowledge in the writing and redaction of NATO Information Exchange Specification (IES) and NATO communication standards.;
  • Expert knowledge in system and software design and development of message handling and validation systems based Java, JavaScript and schematron/XSLT
  • Familiarity with NATO organisational and political structures (especially NHQC3S, ACT HQ. ACO HQ and NCI Agency) and relationships with NATO and Partner nations;
  • Ability to independently produce and edit technical documentation and scientific reports in English
  • Able to speak and write fluent English since the work is conducted in English.
  • Excellent communications skills
  • Required Security Clearance: NATO SECRET
