Sapienza Consulting, a tpgroup company, is recruiting a Project Manager and Work Package (WP) 10 Lead to join NATO – NCIA in Mons, Wallonia, Belgium.

Responsibilities

Under the direction of the Enterprise Service Operations Centre Chief, the incumbent will perform duties such as the following:

  • Facilitate and enable the integration of ITM Recovery Increment 1 new and modernized services
  • Support the WP10 dependencies with other work packages
  • Analyse and validate the relevant Service Delivery Packages (SDP) concerning the ESOC and in particular the associated processes, tools, documentation and training materials
  • The planning, implementation and management of assigned projects and in accordance with the appropriate NATO regulations and NCIA project management policies and procedures
  • Execute the necessary Quality Assurance functions essential to the successful delivery of capability and services
  • Deliver projects within defined Time, Cost and Quality tolerances
  • Participate in other project management related activities
  • Undertake relevant technical support activities
  • Performs other duties as may be required

Profile

  • Required Security Clearance: NATO Secret
  • A Bachelor’s degree at a nationally recognised/certified University in a related discipline, such as, Engineering or Applied Science and at least 2 years post-related experience
  • Recent experience in the successful Project Management of major C4ISR acquisition and/or development projects for a large organization
  • A recognised formal Project Management qualification, such as PRINCE 2/PMP
  • The lack of formal qualifications can be compensated by the demonstration of expertise and experience in the domain
  • Experience in planning, design, system engineering and implementation of communication aspects of C4ISR systems
  • Knowledge of configuration management concepts, system life cycle management and quality management
  • Proven ability to work well in a team in his/her field of activity
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively orally, using tact and diplomacy, and in writing with good briefing skills
  • Knowledge of NATO or national governmental acquisition policy and procurement procedures
  • Prior experience of working in an international environment comprising both military and civilian elements
  • Technical leadership experience
  • Knowledge of Project Management automation tools (i.e. MSSkill, Knowledge & Experience: Enterprise Project Management)
  • Knowledge of NATO responsibilities and organization, including Allied Command Operations and Allied Command Transformation
