Sapienza Consulting, a tpgroup company, is recruiting a LOGFAS Instructor to join NATO – NCIA in Oeiras, Lisbon, Portugal (Remote).


The NATO Communications and Information Academy (NCI Academy) located in Oeiras, Portugal currently delivers NATO technical and user training on a variety of hardware and software systems. In the light of these activities, the NCI Academy is looking for an experienced Logistics Functional Area Service (LOGFAS) instructor. More specifically, the work will involve delivering LOGFAS training to NATO Command Structure, NATO Force Structure, NATO member MODs, and Partners-for-Peace units on location using the customer’s own network and resources.

The training courses will be carried out at various NATO or national sites with the customer providing the training environment.

The deliverable products for this agreement are the following LOGFAS courses as defined in the NCI Academy Catalogue.

  • A0223 LOGFAS Movement Execution and Coordination
  • A0224 LOGFAS Strategic Deployment and Movement Planning Course
  • A0251 LOGFAS Staff Officer Course
  • A0253 LOGFAS Sustainment Planning and Distribution Course
  • A0254 LOGFAS Fundamentals & Basic Data Operator
  • A0980 LOGFAS 5 Day Tailored Training

Each course shall include preparation and coordination, course delivery and report on the conduct of the course.


The consultancy support for this work requires a LOGFAS instructor with the following qualifications:

  • The candidate has a NATO SECRET security clearance, provided by the national security organization valid at the time of submission of the bid covering the period of the requirement
  • Fluent in English and must be able to read and write technical and user documentation
  • Deep knowledge of NATO’s doctrine and standards relevant to logistics
  • Advanced knowledge of the version 7.0 LOGFAS tool suite (Data Operator, ADAMS, CORSOM, SPM/SDM)
  • To have completed a NATO Technical Instructor Course
  • To have completed a LOGFAS Train the Trainer course
  • To be a NCISS/NCI Academy certified LOGFAS instructor
  • In-depth experience in delivering LOGFAS courses


Practical experience in the following areas is also desired:

  • The candidate has relevant experience in delivery of mobile training to NATO commands
