Sapienza Consulting is recruiting a Senior Portfolio Management Consultant to join NATO – NCIA in Belgium (Remote).

Responsibilities

• Maintain a regular dialogue with OCIO managers, portfolio and programme managers, and sponsors on a regular basis, to stay informed of OCIO activities that are linked to NCI Agency and/or may impact NCI Agency programmes, projects and activities
• Maintain a dashboard of key OCIO activities and engagements including Senior Expert Group meetings (and associated preparatory meetings), a log of key NCIA-OCIO information exchanges, an up-to-date status report of OCIO activities, and an up-to-date status report of NCIA activities and projects sponsored by OCIO
• Attend NCIA-OCIO coordination meetings and senior-level (A5 and above) engagement meetings, including the provision and recording of meeting minutes
• Support liaison activities with other NHQC3S and ACT on topics related to OCIO
• Support CTO in portfolio management activities within its technical PoW with OCIO
• Prepare, organize and lead scoping and coordination meetings with the different PoW external and internal stakeholders
• Perform other duties as required, including deputizing for senior NCI Agency CTO staff on internal and external engagements

Profile

• NATO SECRET Security Clearance
• A Master of Science (MSc) degree from a reputable university in a related discipline with a minimum of 5 years’ relevant demonstrated post-related experience
• A senior profile matching the level of senior portfolio manager with a solid scientific background and with a proven track record of support to complex NATO programmes and activities
• Knowledge and proven experience in at least one of the following current NATO topics or programmes: Ballistic Missile Defence, Air Command and Control, Digital Transformation, Cyber Adaptation, ICT Coherence or NATO Innovation
• Proven experience and certified knowledge of project and programme/portfolio management
• Recognized track record in dealing with stakeholders, understanding their needs, problems, and requests and proposing constructive ways ahead
• Proven experience to communicate effectively in English both in writing and orally with excellent writing and briefing skills to different types of audiences, including providing briefings and writing high-quality reports with little guidance
