Sapienza Consulting is recruiting a NHQ Linux Systems Engineer to join NATO – NCIA in Brussels, Belgium.
CSU Brussels located in Brussels, NATO Headquarters, is currently responsible for the operation and maintenance of the Linux servers running in the NHQ networks. These systems are running RedHat and Oracle Linux operating systems. CSU Brussels is looking for an experienced Linux engineer to build procedures and support processes for the accomplishment of these activities.
The main objectives of this statement of work can be summarized as follow:
CSU Brussel has a requirement for subject matter experts to be embedded with a team of NCI Agency staff in support of the SLA for running NHQ ICT environment.
The consultant(s) will work on-site and regularly coordinate their efforts with the team. The expertise is focused on operating and maintaining the Linux systems, developing procedures for the operation and maintenance tasks, monitoring of the Linux environment and taking preventive actions, responding to the incidents and requests related to the Linux systems, performing root cause analysis, giving advice for improvement of the services.
In addition, work will be required to use Puppet management tool to automate various tasks on Linux systems, and operate and maintain Puppet management tool.
