Sapienza Consulting is recruiting a Talent Development Officer to join NATO – NCIA in The Hague, South Holland, Netherlands (Remote).

Responsibilities

  • Support the design and develop the talent development strategy for the Agency
  • Advice and support the development of the talent development strategy, ensuring alignment with the broader Agency’s vision and its current and long-term objectives
  • Deliver on the internal Talent Development portfolio as outlined in the Talent Development Strategy, including Performance Management Process, System, Leadership Development, Talent Identification & Reviews, etc
  • Continuously improving the value for money of spend on training and development by raising the quality of learning and development outcomes for behavioral and leadership programmes
  • Establish and maintain effective post-learning support mechanisms and opportunities
  • Advise on integrated talent programs, including succession planning, executive coaching, intern and graduate development programme
  • Work with HR colleagues to ensure the annual talent review cycle is embedded within the Agency
  • Establishes and maintains collaborative working relationships with the Business (including strong links with the NCI Academy) and appropriate stakeholders to maximise the Business strategic plan
  • Advise on integrated talent programs, including succession planning, executive coaching, intern and graduate development programme
  • Facilitates, promotes and improves continuously the Agency’s career management policy
  • Ensure the collection of data and build pertinent reports and KPIs to follow up and manage the performance and competency development of the Organisation
  • Maintain a close relationship with HR Business Partner teams to understand the development needs of the business

Profile

  • The candidate must have a currently active NATO SECRET security clearance
  • Preferably a Bachelor’s Degree from a nationally recognised/ certified University in a related discipline with 2 years-post related experience; or a Higher vocational training in a relevant discipline with 6 years post-related experience
  • At least 2 years of demonstrable, relevant and progressive experience in Talent Development, Performance Management & Leadership Development
  • Knowledge of performance management/ appraisal best practices
  • Experience in managing the development and implementation of related talent development plans, systems and policies
  • Experienced in learning consultation, creative design and delivery of initiatives and programmes
  • Demonstrated experience in the ability to plan and implement long and short range development initiatives in conjunction with the strategic planning process; this includes effective communication skills to manage change management initiatives
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and tasks and the ability to adapt to changing requirements
  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills
