Sapienza Consulting is recruiting a Contractor Support to C3T to join NATO – NCIA, at Belgium (Remote).

Responsibilities

• Support the development of Enterprise C3 (Command, Control and Consultation) Information Products Taxonomies. Contribute to discussions and analysis to determine appropriate categorisations of Defence Enterprise Information Products.
• Generate Content (develop the descriptions) for Information Products Taxonomies. Using experience and analysis to identify appropriate descriptions for categorised concepts through extant doctrine where appropriate
• Provide relevant analysis and reports to support justification of taxonomy structures and descriptions
• Support the C3 Taxonomy review and control process

Specific Working Conditions:

• Work will be conducted using own facilities, providing own access to internet
• Work will primarily be conducted using TIDEPedia internet page (internet access is therefore required)
• Email will be the primary means of written communication
• GoToMeeting and Phone are primary methods of voice communication (no specific license required, NATO/NCIA staff will host all meetings)
• Outputs must be compatible with MS Office software
• Work is expected to be conducted remotely for duration of contract, however, in exceptional circumstances any necessary site visits will be dealt with through an amendment to the purchase order to cover any extraordinary costs in line with extant NATO policy and guidance

Profile

Essential Skills:

• At least 2 years’ experience of classifying or writing definitions of Information Concepts or military functions demonstrated through project work or publications

OR

• At least 2 years’ experience of content generation for enterprise taxonomies, with demonstrated experience of taxonomy dataset generation, comparison and analysis

Desirable Skills:

• Business Taxonomy development in a large organisation or enterprise
• Organisational mapping of command and control structures
• Business Analysis of CIS functions
• Stakeholder management of subject matter experts, technical specialists and business architects

Essential Knowledge:

• Military operational C3 in the context of operational or strategic military HQs
• Cataloguing of Military CIS / Military Communication Systems in an operational context

Desirable Knowledge:

• NATO Doctrine (AJPs), including NATO and allied national doctrine.
• TOGAF / NAF V4
• Information Outputs of Business Processes (in the context of Enterprise or Technical Architectures)
