Sapienza Consulting is recruiting SCOM Expert to join NATO – NCIA in Brussels, Belgium.

Responsibilities

• Upgrade/reinstall existing SCOM instances to the latest level
• Install, configure and troubleshoot SCOM management packs including third party management packs used to monitor network, storage, applications, etc.
• Install and configure SCOM servers to enable monitoring across different Active Directory domains
• Administers SCOM (Microsoft System Centre Operations Manager) systems
• Tune the SCOM configuration to prevent false-positive alerts
• Take necessary actions to ensure all elements of IT services are monitored
• Monitor the SCOM environments and take appropriate actions
• Investigates and resolves issues in a systematic approach
• Performs other duties as may be required

Profile

• The candidate must have a NATO SECRET security clearance
• Current in-depth knowledge and practical work experience of SCOM (Microsoft System Centre Operations Manager) in a large scale LAN-based client-server environment
• Recent experience on design, installation and maintenance of SCOM environments over multiple Active Directory domains
• In-depth knowledge of installation and configuration of SCOM management packs
• Experience with configuring monitoring of Linux based systems with SCOM
• Ability to quickly analyse and implement third party SCOM management packs
• Excellent troubleshooting skills
