Sapienza Consulting, a Serco company, is recruiting a COMSEC Technician – TEMPEST to join NATO – NCIA in Mons, Wallonia, Belgium.

Responsibilities

The contracted individual must be able to perform effectively and efficiently with minimal supervision. The contracted individual will be tasked to support the delivery of one or more service deliverables and/or provide on-site service delivery support in the execution of projects undertaken within the 2022 calendar year.

The duties of the individual mainly focus on:

• Delivery within a small team of specialists of:
  • TEMPEST Facility Zoning in accordance with SDIP-28/1
  • EMSEC Vulnerability Assessments to ensure compliance with SDIP-29/2
  • EMSEC Site Surveys
• Initial drafting of formal technical reports for peer review

Profile

• The candidate must have a currently active NATO SECRET security clearance.

The required skillset for the contracted individual is extensive knowledge and experience (more than 5 years) in the following areas:

• An extensive knowledge of all CIS security disciplines and systems, specifically, a good working knowledge of, and experience with, TEMPEST and Emission Security
• A working knowledge of NATO SDIP-28/1 and SDIP-29/2
• Experience in conducting Facility Zoning Measurements
• A good general knowledge of telecommunications engineering with emphasis on the installation of Classified CIS and Cryptographic Equipment
• Some experience of the management of CIS-related projects
