Sapienza Consulting, a Serco company, is recruiting a NATO Secret cleared CIS security Technician, with work location in Northwood, England, United Kingdom.

Responsibilities

Duties & Role:

  • Investigates and resolves issues in a systematic approach;
  • Maintains sound knowledge in the area of work;
  • Assists his/ her superiors and recommends solutions.
  • Assists in managing of the crypto material and public key infrastructure in accordance with NATO, ACO and Agency directives;
  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of local accreditation documentation;
  • Communicates with other CSU internal units, Service Lines and other Security Authorities;
  • Provides cyber security advice and Level 1 support as required;
  • Implements security settings at the local level;
  • Executes the security incident management process;
  • Conducts vulnerability assessments within policy guidelines and as directed;
  • Responsible for the monitoring and support of assigned systems and portions of the networks including the support to local cyber security training and awareness programs;
  • Provides CIS Security technical support and assistance to NATO CIS Operating Authorities;
  • Provides, as requested, digital forensic support to security investigations in line with the local SLA and as directed;
  • Assists to TIER 3 as required in respect to event analysis and interpretation and in direction by Cyber Security SL.
  • Conducts security inspection and configuration activities of electronic devices introduced to the assigned AOR;
  • Maintains security incident register and acts as the alternate COMSEC custodian;
  • Implements security awareness training for site uses;
  • Performs other duties as may be required.

Profile

Skill, Knowledge & Experience:

  • The candidate must have a currently active NATO SECRET security clearance
  • Vocational training at a higher level in a relevant discipline, or equivalent combination of appropriate qualifications and experience;
  • At least 8 years of equivalent combination of qualifications and experience in Cyber Security.
  • Experienced in configuring Microsoft Windows 2008+ and Microsoft Windows 7+ Active Directory domain environments.
  • Experience in configuring Enterprise Cyberspace Security solutions such as McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator (including data loss prevention).
  • Experience in Cyberspace security hygiene and compliancy management.
  • Experienced in working with enterprise configuration management applications such as Microsoft System Centre Configuration Management (SCCM) 2012+.
  • Experience in conducting vulnerability assessments
  • Knowledge and experience of incident management relating to Cyber Security events
  • Experience in supporting of digital forensic
  • Experience in providing briefings to a wide ranging military and civilian audience
