On behalf of our client e2E Services Limited, founded in 1999 and established in providing systems engineering, technical support and expertise, I am seeking an experienced Senior Embedded Software Engineer that will support their mission Welwyn Garden City or London. You would be responsible in carrying out development across the lifecycle. Also, you’d strengthen e2E’s embedded capabilities, help define good process and practice and provide subject matter expertise within the wider team.

Responsibilities

• Carry out development across the lifecycle
• Working with requirements, analysing modelling and prototyping critical areas
• Defining architecture, developing interfaces, and carrying out implementation and validation
• Using agile approach to carry out the processes in the R&D department
• Understanding the broader context of the software in order to find appropriate solutions
• Defining solutions based on client needs

Profile

• Experience with C++ for Linux
• Experience using version control systems such as Git
• Experience with real time systems and embedded systems
• Experience with Linux kernels and Driver development
• Experience with Software Defined Radio, communications protocols, protocol stacks
• Experience in Embedded and SoC Development, as well as Hardware development in Loop development and testing
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with standards or requirements-based development
• Xilinx tools
• Experience with Bash, Python and similar
• Experience with any other languages like C, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, MATLAB, Fortran
• Experience in unit and integration test automation
• Experience in the Space or Aerospace industries
• Experience with high performance techniques including DPDK, CUDA, AVX
• Experience with ECSS, FSO, MBSE, 5G NR
