Sapienza Consulting is recruiting a Sharepoint Engineer to join NATO – NCIA, at Mons, Belgium.

Responsibilities

  • Deploy and configure Microsoft SharePoint Server farm for Document Management System
  • In close coordination with stakeholders, design and implement NPN Document Management System based on the Microsoft SharePoint technologies. Apply need-toknow principles for the document access based on the pre-defined metadata
  • Produce high quality documentation for design and/or deployed systems, including configuration description, physical and logical layouts, rack diagrams, connectivity matrixes. When applicable export or backup configuration to the external media
  • Follow security principals and best practices for systems design and deployment, including password management firmware and software updating, etc. Design and implement special permissions for Power Users based on the existing delegation model
  • Be ready to act independently and to take decisions based on the provided system requirements. Evaluate available design documents and propose new solutions if needed
  • Adhere to NCI Agency guidance and directives, and more generally NATO Standards
  • Any other duties as mandated by the project manager

Profile

  • A university master’s degree in Computer Science, or related discipline, or experience equivalent to a Master’s degree
  • At least 3 years of experience in implementing CIS systems (with duties including the ones mentioned above)
  • Demonstrated experience in Microsoft SharePoint Server technologies with particular emphasis on document management system
  • Sound experience in SQL server management, including data backup
  • Flexibility to work outside normal duty hours as and when required
  • Knowledge and experience in state-of-the-art technologies, relevant to the work
  • Able to operate under time pressure and able to multitask continuously
  • Ability to independently produce technical documentation in English, related to area of expertise
  • Ability to interact with internal and external stakeholders (including customers)
  • Experience of working in an (international) environment, comprising both military and civilian staff
  • Able to learn new procedures and terminology quickly Desirable Experience and education
  • Microsoft MCSE certification
  • Valid CISSP certification
  • Previous experience in NCIA
  • Must hold NATO Security Clearance
  • Fluent business English; knowledge of another NATO member-state language is an asset
