Sapienza Consulting is recruiting a IT/Cyber Security Engineer to join NATO – NCIA, at Brussels, Belgium.

Responsibilities

  • Provides cyber security advice and Level 1, Level 2 support as required;
  • Implements security settings at the local level;
  • Executes the security incident management process
  • Responsible for the monitoring of assigned systems and portions of the networks including the support to local cyber security training and awareness programs
  • Provides CIS Security technical support and assistance to NATO CIS Operating Authorities
  • Provides, as requested, digital forensic support to security investigations in line with the local SLA and as directed
  • Assists with TIER 3 functions as required in respect to event analysis and interpretation as directed by Cyber Security SL
  • Maintains security incident register
  • Implements and advises on local technical security controls in accordance with site specific cyber security intelligence and directions from local security authorities
  • Manages cyber security systems (firewalls, proxies, anti-virus, VPNs, IDS, log consolidation, web application firewalls, DDOS protection…)
  • Manages security activities related to NATO HQ on externally hosted ICT services
  • Works with limited supervision
  • Coordinates and conducts own work to meet quality targets
  • Maintains and improves sound knowledge on implemented technologies
  • Analyses technical issues, plans, designs, requirements and associated risks, and advises on appropriate actions on technical solutions
  • Investigates and resolves issues in a systematic approach
  • Performs any other duty as assigned

Profile

  • At least 8 years extensive and progressive expertise in the duties related to the function
  • Experience of cyber security activities in large, complex and possibly classified ICT environments with 2.000+ end-user devices;
  • Strong network knowledge
  • Very good analytical skills
  • Ability to create documentation including diagrams and processes;
  • Good Communication skills, both verbal and written
  • ITIL v3 certification(s)
  • Experience and broad knowledge in a wide range of IT fields: systems administration, programming, network administration, etc
  • Must hold NATO Cosmic Top Security Clearance
  • Fluent business English; knowledge of another NATO member-state language is an asset
