Sapienza Consulting is recruiting a JOCWatch Team Lead Web Apps Developer to join NATO – NCIA, at the Hague, the Netherlands.

NATO Communications & Information Agency (NCI Agency) located in The Hague, The Netherlands, is currently providing methodological, analytical and technical support to NATO for Information Management applications deployed to NATO theatres of operations. The NCI Agency is providing support and maintenance of TOPFAS system. The NCI Agency C2 Service Line is designated service provider for NATO C2 capabilities and requires contractor support in conducting its JOCWatch operations support. Work requires leading software engineering development and support of JOCWatch .Net application. We offer access to latest technologies and modern development environment based on latest Microsoft DevOps platform (VS2017, .Net 4.7, Git, Microsoft Teams etc.)

Responsibilities

This statement of work is for full time presence of single individual to work in NCI Agency, The Hague, under guidance of NCI Agency Project Manager providing technical lead for maintenance of JOCWatch. Work will be principally as team lead with specific responsibility for leading implementation of JOCWatch Web application. Effort is required to conduct following software development activities:

  • Implement software changes as required using Microsoft DevOps
  • Support development of front-end application and back end services
  • Support bug fixing and stability improvements
  • Direct and provide guidance to other Developers
  • List of activities will not be limited to the above-mentioned items and may expand as requirements emerge and qualification of the candidate allows

Profile

  • University degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent
  • Knowledge of JOCWatch and incident management
  • Strong experience in Web HTML5 application development (single page application, line of business application)
  • In depth knowledge of AngularJS (project is currently using AngularJS, but moving to Angular 8. Strong experience with AngularJS framework stack required)
  • In depth knowledge of .Net Web API
  • In depth knowledge of C# 7
  • Proven experience with JavaScript and CSS3
  • Proven experience with Web Services (latest version) and Web applications
  • Strong experience with Typescript
  • Knowledge of EF6
  • Familiarity with Microsoft stacks and technology
  • Experience with Git source control
  • Working experience with Microsoft Devops
  • Knowledge of Postgres database
  • Knowledge of NVG and OIR
  • Proven ability to integrate and work in multinational team
  • Must hold NATO Security Clearance
  • Fluent business English; knowledge of another NATO member-state language is an asset
