Sapienza specialises in providing organisations in the Space and Defence industry with Software and Manpower. Sapienza has offices in Germany, France, the Netherlands and the UK. The Netherlands office has a team of software developers, commercial and internal services employees and provides administrative support to our manpower and services staff in the UK, Germany, and the Netherlands. Sapienza is looking to recruit an experienced HR Administrative Assistant for a minimum of five months to cover a maternity leave.

Fixed Term contract to cover Maternity Leave – Full Time, Monday, 13 January to Friday, 12 June 2020

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and administer Induction, Exit procedures and Special Leave reporting
  • Administer pre-employment background checks
  • Input data and maintain employee files
  • Organize new employee orientations
  • Support and organisation of relocation assistance
  • Registering sick leave with the Arbodienst and reporting to the Line Manager
  • Assist with employee events and service awards
  • On-going maintenance of the company personnel databases
  • Analysing incoming correspondence and documentation and managing distribution of outgoing correspondence and documentation
  • Administration support for projects
  • Cover all general administration tasks across the team when required

Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field
  • 2 + years’ experience in similar role an advantage
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and prioritise workload
  • At least 2 years’ experience in Human Resources administrative processes
  • Good work ethic with focus on accuracy and reliability
  • Fluent in English written and spoken
  • Minimum intermediate Dutch language skills required
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Self-motivated, with commitment to continual learning and development
  • Experienced with Microsoft Office suite
  • Good communicator who is able to explain things clearly and in a professional manner
  • Excellent telephone skills
  • Willing to undergo security clearance procedures
