Sapienza Consulting is recruiting a Principal Assistant to work at NCIA in Mons.

Responsibilities

  • Assist on the Development of the Agency multi-Year Financial Plan
  • Assist on the development of Financial analysis including variance analysis in support to the Agency general management
  • Assist on the development of analysis and studies in support to Agency working groups and studies as Finance SME
  • Assist on the internal Organization of the Branch by keeping track of the assigned tasks and timelines and managing the Branch web portal (SharePoint)
  • Assist on monitoring the evolution of the Customer Funding Framework and model and implement decisions accordingly
  • Assist on the financial and resource planning activities of the
  • Air Command and Control (AirC2) and Ballistic Missile Defence (BMD) Programme Offices financial planning and programming (including the NATO Programming Centre)
  • Participate on the development of the Key Management Assumptions (KMA) that support the Agency business and are strategic pillars to the Agency Financial Plan and Customer Funding Model
  • Participate on the development and monitoring of the Customer Rates which underpin the Agency prices
  • Participate on the development of the Agency multi-Year Financial Plan
  • Contribute to general business improvement initiatives in the Finance Directorate
  • Represent, as required, the Chief FP Branch at Agency or external meetings, working groups and conferences
  • Performs other duties as maybe required

Profile

  • Specific training in aspects of Financial Management such as accounting, budgeting, financial planning or related areas with at least 4 year practical experience;
  • Proven analytic skills and problem solving creativity on a variety of subjects of dissimilar nature;
  • Extensive experience in the use of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint;
  • Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing;
  • Ability to work under pressure in a complex environment;
  • Ability to collaboratively work in a Team.
  • Minimum 6 years’ experience in different aspects of financial planning and/or budgeting;
  • Experience in cost accounting and/or financial analysis;
  • Experience in the use of an ERP system for planning and analytic functions;
  • Knowledge of the NFRs and Financial Rules and Procedures;
  • Knowledge of Customer Funding in a services environment;
  • Knowledge of NATO and the organizational structure including governance/regulatory arrangements.
  • Must hold NATO Secret Security Clearance
  • Fluent in English; knowledge of another NATO member-state language is an asset
  • Candidates must be eligible to work in the EU
