We are recruiting a Comms and User Support to provide CIS to NSPA for Sapienza to work on our Customers Site (NATO NCIA at Sigonella, Province of Catania, Italy).

Responsibilities

The Comms and User Support will perform duties such as the following:

• Install, operate, protect, maintain and support all local Voice and Data communication, Network, Audio/Video and VTC equipment
• Install, operate and maintain Routing and Switching equipment, VoIP and VTC infrastructures and circuits
• Troubleshoot network connections and serial circuits
• Support the local deployment of IT protection systems, to include firewalls, antivirus and IT security policies as directed
• Take part in a Duty Support Shift, which may operate on a 24/7 basis

Profile

• Required Security Clearance: NATO Cosmic Top Secret
• Detailed knowledge of Local Area Network (LAN) and Wide Area Network (WAN) communications, router/switch based networks and routing protocols, with specific expertise on Cisco products and technologies
• Experience on Cisco Voice/Video over IP technologies, including trunking of voice and video end-user devices using SIP protocol
• Experience in configuring/connecting/cabling Data Circuit Terminating Equipment and Data Terminal Equipment
• Experience in deploying and maintaining Voice over IP (VoIP) services
• Experience in provisioning and trouble-shooting data/voice circuits and fibre optic interconnections
